three fire night

SOL TIDE, March 17, 2026

An evening of fire, water, and light during uncertain times. An oasis of love, shadows, and wood smoke for weary pilgrims. A collaboration with Sol-Tide; a three fire night.

Moving pictures of flame and stone [foraged on-site at the sauna-house before the snow came] were kneaded, folded and mixed over the winter into three dynamic installations. ‘The Lovers’, ‘Three Fire Night’, and ‘Smolder’ each play with the magic made when constant transition and transformation are revealed in patterns of color, sound, scale, and waves.

Using flood lights, rope swings, video loops and electricity, the grounds and community spaces were transformed. As Illuminated guests passed through the pockets of light between heat and water, their shadows and beings became living parts of the experience, deepening connections, reminding us that we are all part of this together.
